Final, unofficial local election results

Out of 52,059 registered voters in Buchanan County, 36,222 cast ballots in Tuesday’s election, a turnout of 69.58%. County Clerk Mary Baack-Garvey had predicted 85% and ordered ballots to cover 100%. Here are the final, unofficial results:

Early statewide returns

Donald Trump and Mike Pence have taken an early lead in the presidential race in Missouri.   With 20 of 3,241 precincts reporting, the GOP ticket has 17,952 votes (56.197%) according to the Secretary of State’s Office.

Turnout high at Buchanan County polls
