  • W. Volleyball. Tigers Open WKU Invite with SweepW. Volleyball. Tigers Open WKU Invite with Sweep

    The Mizzou volleyball team topped Tennessee Tech in game two of the Western Kentucky Invitational, 3-0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-19), at E.A. Diddle Arena on Friday morning (Sept. 10). With the win, the Tigers improve to 7-0 in 2010. The Tigers served 10 aces in the match, a season-best. Five of those aces came off of the arm of freshman setter Molly Kreklow (Delano, Minn.), who was serving overhand for the first time this season. Mizzou has now swept it opponents in six of its seven matches in 2010.

    Missouri is back in Columbia this weekend, as the Tigers will host the Arkansas Razorbacks at Walton Stadium. Game time is set for 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 10. The Tigers will offer discounted admission to the Fire and Police Departments in remembrance of 9/11.
